Summer Open Day 2025

5th July 2025

Join Us

Our Open Day is a chance for you to take a look around the Academy and hear from the Academy’s founder, Mark, one of our course tutors, Eileen, and current students. It’s also an opportunity to ask about returning to education, becoming a counsellor and find out other ways our courses can support your personal development.

We’re running two sessions throughout the day, with complementary refreshments a chance to meet likeminded people. Once you’ve heard from our speakers, some of our tutors and Mark will be on hand to answer questions you may have, on a one-to-one basis.

“It’s not like going back to school, everyone wants to be here and has a genuine interest in what we are learning about. We do have fun though!”

If you’re looking to…

Change your career

If you’re looking for inspiration, we’ll talk about the skills you’ll learn on our courses, and types of roles you could consider on completing them.

Improve your career prospects, or develop within your current role

Hear how the valuable skills you learn on our courses can benefit you in day-to-day life, within a wide range of job roles, and go towards personal development within your existing role.

Return to education, and looking for your ideal course

Learn about the support we offer and learning environment we provide. We’ll talk about how these are specifically designed to support you in returning to education, and help you succeed.

“I don’t have the fondest memories of school, and I was nervous about speaking up. But our tutor created a safe space from the first lesson, and I soon realised that everyone else on my course was feeling the same as me, we’re in the same boat! Now I feel very comfortable talking and asking questions, and I really enjoy hearing what others say too, I’m learning a lot. We learn from and respect each other and genuinely want one another to succeed.”

“I was nervous about the assignments, but they break them down for us – so there’s quite a lot to do, and it is challenging! But we go through everything in so much detail in class and the notes are shared with us. I know I can always ask my tutor questions too, and have done a number of times, she is super supportive.”
